Roma Workshops

Today was the last day of our Roma course. It was inspiring and an honour to work with such an insightful, intelligent and talented 11 year old girl. Some beautiful work was taken over the course.

Miruna says: 'When I first arrived I was so shy, it was just me... but then I got excited. I started really liking it. It made me feel artistic.'

Miruna 11, tells us 'I am a Romanian and a Gypsy,'. Her dream is to be a singer.

When we asked her about how she felt about the exhibition and people seeing her work she said 'I am excited, I want people to see me. I am proud'.

We spoke about the reasons she had chosen to take photographs of the subjects she had. Miruna tells us '(I want) to show the world and other people what I love.'
